‘anonymous’ is always intriguing

I’m always looking for something new and interesting to read/listen to and I found this a few weeks ago, before it was released, so I put a ‘hold’ on it through the library – from where most of my reads are borrowed. Just as was wondering what I’m going to move on to next, Duchess Goldblatt became available!! I love it when I don’t have to scroll though dozens and dozens of ‘pages’ to find something I want to check out.

Becoming Duchess Goldblatt, written by Anonymous, has a compelling description and it is only 193 pages (in audio time, that’s about six hours) I’m paraphrasing: part memoir by a reclusive real-life writer and part the imaginary character she created for a Twitter account, the character who became a fan favorite around the world.

I obviously have yet to listen to it and I can’t find the ‘readers’ but one, I believe is Lyle Lovett (don’t ask me why, I don’t know) and the other two are women. I hope it’s as entertaining as it’s touted to be in reviews.
