The remnants of Sewells {the longest *633 feet of timbers and hand-packed stone* timber/rock crib dam in the world} dam in Concord, NH, constructed in 1894 and had survived almost a century of multiple floods and a hurricane 1938 until it was breached in April 7, 1984.
